Challenge 1: Car-free Is Possible
October – November 2024

In this challenge, we are asking you to #movecarfree and put down your car for as many days of each week as possible.

Why? Lifestyle changes related to everyday mobility are among the most effective ways to reduce our carbon footprint. If we own or use a car for our daily mobility, giving it up in favour of walking, cycling or public transport is one of the most effective decisions we can make in our everyday lives.

How much time do you spend commuting each day? Do you already use public transport? Do you cycle even in cold weather? Participate in the challenge and change with us!

Challenge 2: The Winter Holiday Challenge

December 2024

In this challenging, we are inviting you to find out how to celebrate a #onepointfiveholiday with lower carbon footprint.

Why? Everything we do needs to become 1.5°-compatible, so we want to encourage you to think about how the winter holidays could be made more sustainable – while they also remain festive and enjoyable.

Do you make sure that what you are gifting is sustainable or serves a social purpose? How do you decorate your home? How do you travel to visit your family?

The Food Challenge

January 2025

In this challenge, we are asking you to become #plantbasednowaste. In other words, try following a plant-based diet and reduce your food waste.

Why? By reducing animal products and avoiding food waste, we can significantly reduce our carbon footprint.

How many times a week do you eat meat and other animal products? Do you follow a seasonal diet? Do you know where you can get fresh, local produce? Do you eat everything you buy?

The 1.5° Footprint Challenge

February 2025

In the final challenge, we are urging you to calculate your carbon footprint and find out what your most important lifestyle impact is towards reaching #onepointfivefootprint.

Why? We all need to contribute to creating 1.5° societies, and a good place to start is with our own footprint. The beginning of the year is a good time to consider bigger lifestyle changes for the year ahead.

Have you ever used a carbon calculator? Do you track your consumption? Do you know the impact of lifestyle changes on your carbon footprint? Do you already have a 1.5° footprint?
