Although the EU 1.5° Lifestyles project officially wraps up at the end of April 2025, the conversation is far from over. Consortium members will continue sharing our insights, findings and tools with researchers, policymakers, practitioners and changemakers across Europe this year.
Here’s where you can still catch us live:
- May 8-9, 2025, Tallinn, Estonia: Halliki Kreinin (RIFS) will present at the Estonian Social Sciences Annual Conference (ESAK)
- May 19, 2025, Berlin, Germany: Lea Becker (RIFS) will present "How can we achieve 1.5° lifestyles - Strategies and approaches for a climate-just society" at the TU Berlin as part of the "Klimaringvorlesung".
- June 3, 2025, Budapest, Hungary: Edina Vadovics (GDI) will present at the "3rd National Conference on (Environmental) Awareness Raising – The Eyes of the Future are on Us"
- June 24-27, 2025, Oslo, Norway: Halliki Kreinin (RIFS) will present at the ISEE Degrowth Conference: "Building socially just postgrowth futures - linking theory and action"
- September 2-3, 2025, Geneva, Switzerland: Michael Lettenmeier (DMat) and the HoC team are planning to present and attend the World Resources Forum
- September 26th, 2025, Helsinki, Finland: Michael Lettenmeier (DMat) will do a workshop on the Climate Puzzle at the European Researchers’ Night (other parallel European events tbc!)
- November 24-26th, 2025, Oulu, Finland: Michael Lettenmeier (DMat) will attend the conference of the Finnish Society for Environmental Social Science (YHYS)
- December 3-5, 2025, Potsdam, Germany: Doris Fuchs (RIFS), Lea Becker (RIFS), Paula Berendt (RIFS) and other consortium members will be at the Research Institute for Sustainability (RIFS) Conference 2025 "Tough Conversations in Tough Times" - submissions are open for this conference until May 31st!
