The Researchers' Night, Europe's largest science education event, took place at the end of September. The EU 1.5° Lifestyles project in Latvia and Hungary was represented at the event by the two partner organisations of the project, the Latvian Green Liberty and the Hungarian GreenDependent Institute.
In Hungary, GreenDependent Institute presented the Climate Puzzle at the invitation of the Centre for Social Sciences. Participants were able to create carbon footprint reduction plans for avatars based on data from real people. The game helped participants to create individual carbon footprint reduction plans and made them realise that there are many ways to achieve the 1.5° lifestyle.

At the Scientists' Night in Riga at the University's Nature House, Green Liberty set up an interactive "stop" for young people about the impact of lifestyle choices on climate change. They offered to calculate their carbon footprint, played a game called Climate Call, where they could compare the impact of different actions.
