Dr. Andrius Plepys

Dr. Andrius Plepys (male) is Assistant professor and lecturer at the International Institute for Industrial Environmental Economics at Lund University, Sweden. He has a PhD in Technology, MSc in Environmental Management and Policy, and MSc in Electric Engineering and Process Control. During past 20 year he has been engaged in a number of international inter-disciplinary research projects with research focus on sustainable consumption and business models, circular resource management practices and product lifecycle impact analysis. Current significant projects are in the fields of sustainability impacts of the sharing economy and circular economy solutions in manufacturing industries. He leads a project on business models in a 4+4 year programme funded by MISTRA “Mistra REES– Resource-Efficient and Effective Solutions based on circular economy thinking” (https://mistrarees.se/). Andrius is also teaching courses to MSc students at different universities and supervises 4 PhD students at Lund University Sweden
