Edina Vadovics is the scientific director of GDI. She has also been managing GreenDependent’s professional work in the European/International research projects (e.g. Changing Behaviour, CONVERGE, CIMULACT), and campaigns (e.g. EnergyNeighbourhoods, save@work). She acted as key expert in social innovation projects (e.g. URBACT Capitalization, TRANSIT). She has an extensive contact network with organizations from the non-profit, decision-making and municipal sectors. Previously, she worked in corporate environmental and sustainability management, and has taught related courses as an assistant professor. She worked as an external expert for the European Environment Agency and UNEP, contributing their key publications. She has written several publications on low-carbon lifestyles and is editor of the Small Footprint newsletter. She has experience in communicating with the media and giving interviews. Ms Vadovics is a member of SCORAI Europe (Sustainable Consumption Research and Action Initiative) steering committee.
