Lea Becker

Lea Becker is a research associate at RIFS who focuses on the intersection of democracy and sustainability in her work. She pursued her studies in the Franco-German partner programme "International and European Governance," alternating annually between the University of Münster and Sciences Po Lille for her Bachelor's and Master's semesters. During her studies, she developed a growing interest in political theory, focusing particularly on sustainability, justice, and deliberation. Her Master's thesis explored the role of democracy in enabling a good life for all. The project allows her to follow this research path, contributing to increasing quality of life while aligning with the 1.5° climate target.
