Stephanie Cap

Stephanie started as a PhD researcher at the Industrial Ecology department of CML in August 2021. Stephanie Cap graduated with an MSc in Industrial Ecology from Leiden University in the Netherlands in July 2021. For her final thesis, she developed a multi-criteria assessment model for comparing different types of nuts and seeds on environmental, nutritional and social criteria.

Before obtaining her MSc, Stephanie worked in the sustainability department of an international food retailer and led initiatives on strategy development, plastic circularity and sustainable soy sourcing. Stephanie also holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Development from American University in Washington, D.C.

Stephanie enjoys living car-free, eating creative plant-based meals, and investing sustainably.
