Kate Power

Kate is an expert in sustainable consumption and behaviour change, with a deep commitment to promoting ways of living and organizing societies that are truly sustainable. Her work catalyzes innovative and highly ambitious interventions, through identifying and connecting people, ideas, and opportunities. Kate holds a Master´s degree in Gender, Anthropology & Development, and 20 years’ work experience in the non-profit sector as a network-builder, innovator and agent for change.

Kate has 12 years of experience as a Sustainable Consumption Consultant, providing research, analysis, training and strategic thinking on sustainable living and social change. Clients have included the European Environment Agency, European Commission, Nordic Council of Ministers, Greenpeace Germany, KR Foundation and Climate Outreach. In addition to her current role as Development Lead at Hot or Cool Institute, she also has voluntary roles at Common Cause Foundation (Non-Executive Director) and SCORAI (Advisory Board).
